A plant-based diet can help treat and sometimes even reverse conditions such as type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure

What to avoid:

  • Animal products (including meat, dairy, and eggs)

  • Processed food

  • Oils

What to eat:

  • Whole grains

  • Fruits

  • Vegetables

  • Legumes (including beans, peas, lentils)

Important note:
The whole food plant-based diet is not a panacea or magic cure-all.   It is a vital part of a comprehensive medical plan, not a replacement.
